Dorothea L. BIEL, Age 84, passed away Wednesday, Feb 24th, 2009 at Broadview MultiCare Center in Parma, OH. She was born November 10th, 1924 in Cleveland, OH. Dorothea is survived by her grandson, David Marsi, sister Loretta Bill, brother Eddie Bill all of Cleveland, OH, and 2 great grandchildren Gillian and Taylor Marsi of North Royalton. Dorothea is also survived by other family members, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her daughter Celeste Marsi.

SLIVKA, Edward J.  Age 89.  Beloved husband of the late Margaret.  Survived by son Edward C., grandson Matthew J. (US Navy) of San Diego, granddaughter Rebecca A. Lunsford of Atlanta, GA, and daughter-in-law Linda A. of Atlanta, GA.  Dearest friend and companion of Beulah Bias.  Brother of the following deceased: Lillian R. Kosowski, Josephine Rezabek, and Sylvia G. Kral.  Private service with interment at Riverside Cemetery

A WWII Army Veteran, Edward served as a medic with the 97th Infantry Division through Germany, then Japan.  Retired GM worker, and friend to many.
