Messages of Condolence

  1. He was a dear, dear friend, and such a good, loving, caring, compassionate person. His gentleness, smiles, and friendship will be missed greatly. But I know that with all of his recent health struggles, he is truely in a better place singing with the angels of God. I’ll miss you buddy, I’m sorry I didn’t make it home for one last visit with you this past fall. I love you, and will miss you very much.

  2. I knew Dave very well in high school and was very saddened by the news that he had passed away. I knew Dave to be a friendly compassionate and sensitive person with a big heart. i will never forget the many car rides down town and the performances we performed together. He was a wonderful musician and friend. he will be greatly missed. It seemed very appropriate to me that he passed on a day with another musical great so he is going up to heaven in good company. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
    Maria

I knew David while helping to drive my daughter Maria and him (among others) around Cleveland for practices and concerts. He was a joy and pleasure to know with an honest and straight-forward sense of humour. I will miss his smiling face. My thoughts and prayers are with your family at this sad time.

  3. Dave,

You were a good friend for the past 17 years. We have been though thick and thin, good times and bad times, happy and sad events. You are going to be missed by many. You look down and watch over us and make sure we never forget the great memories!!! See you David!!!!

  4. Dave was a dear friend of mine during our time together at Valley Forge High School. I met him through our mutual love of singing and music in Valley Forge’s music program. He was a blessing to my life during that time through his love and care for me and our mutual joy of vocal music. I am sorry that I am unable to be there in person to say goodbye to Dave because I am moving out of my home in Washington, D.C. but please know my heart, thoughts, and prayers are with Dave and especially your famiily during this time of loss. May God bless you all with the loving comfort that Dave now enjoys eternal life free of pain and suffering and sings with the angels in heaven.

    Love & Prayers Always,
    Laura C. Hoffman
