FIALA, Margaret M.

Margaret Mary FIALA (nee Polenik)  Went home peacefully in prayer to be with the Lord on July 17, 2009.  Age 83.  Beloved wife of Joseph for 52 years.  Loving mother of Monica (Mike Neville) and Joseph (Mary Fristad).  Devoted grandmother of Matthew, Elise, Mark and Peter.  Cherished sister of Pete (Marge), Susan (Steve) and Vern.  Proceeded to heaven by sisters and brothers:  Josephine, John (Christina), Mary (Wally), Andy (Dorothy), Steve, Anne, Joseph, Frank (Jean), Paul (Ginny).  Margaret joyfully managed the St. Bridget rectory office for many years and was very grateful for all of the priests, sisters and parishioners who she was honored to serve.  Until late last year, she was an active member of the Parma Hospital Auxiliary where she continued to provide for her community in the chapel enjoying the friendship of many fellow volunteers.  Margaret was a strong believer in God, the Blessed Mother, prayer and only saw the very best in everyone.  She touched the lives of many with kindness, love and peace. We love you and God Bless You too!

Mass of Christian Burial: Friday, July 24 at 10:00 AM at St. Bridget of Kildare Catholic Church. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Visitation: Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Zabor Funeral Home 5680 Pearl Rd. Parma (between Snow and Ridge).
