Messages of Condolence

  1. It is my honor to have known Dorothy, however briefly, and to have served as her pastor here at Ridgewood United Methodist Church. Thank you all for the opportunity that you have given me to offer you the condolence and comfort of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Lord of life. May his love surround you, and may his promise of new life sustain you in this time of grief and loss.

  2. I will truly miss her and be ever thankful for her wonderful friendship all these years since 1982. I am so grateful to have had a wonderful visit this past summer before moving to Florida. I will always cherish the sweet memories, her laughter and good heart. She has always been there for me and and my lovely granddaughter , Debbie. I know she is in Heaven. Dorothy will always be in my heart and hearts of others. Thank you God for sending us an angel of a friend. God bless, Frances Hartly

  6. Aunt Dot meant more to me than words can even describe! She was a vision of joy in my childhood. The past few days have been a few of recollection. I simply can Not imagine my childhood with out her presence, without her joy, without her silly wit, without her very simple and unconditional love! This is a woman that was just a neighbor to a couple pain in the ass kids and 2 early 20’s “adults”. why on earth would or should she open her heart to these strangers? And Thats what made Dorothy Different, She was and will always be the life of the Party! Always that Crazy Bird that was more than willing to open those wings and take you underneath them. She is a Very Special, Very Caring, Very Honest and Jovial spirit that did Not pass, She is Now officially part of us, Part of all of the souls that had the pleasure of her friendship! God Bless you Aunt Dot! Your Physical being will be missed but your life will be celebrated By Many!!
