Messages of Condolence
Dearest Carmella and all of your wonderful family..
We were shocked to hear of Dave’s passing when we went to the Zabor site this morning to check on Lou’s first cousin Gerrald Tylicki’s passing. (We were notified by another of Lou’s fitst cousins who still lives in Parma.) Dave’s name popped up first at that site. I like you, am crushed by this news. MY/our thoughts and prayers are withyou all. May God rest his soul and bring peace to all of his loved ones. I wll always rememer Dave, his brothers and sister and the great fun we had as children and as”‘Grown ups”.
Tom (and Lou) Trossen
I would like to send my sincerest sympathy to the family — I along with my brother Tom Trossen spent many happy hours at the De Crane home just 2 doors away on West Park. Dave was a special friend of mine! I even had his First Communion picture on my dresser! When I was a student nurse at St. John’s he often picked me up or transported me back to school…. I have nothing but fond memories …. may he rest in peace… Ginny Trossen Linsenmeyer

Our thoughts and Prayers are with all of you at this very sad time in your lives – May his sweet smile stay in your hearts forever.

I am sorry to hear about your loss. It may seem all is lost with your loved one’s lost yet may these words found at Revelation 21:4 be a source of comfort and solace during this difficult time that says, “And he will wipe every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” May God continue to give you the strength and courage to endure your sorrow. Please accept my condolences and sympathy for your loss.
Dear Mel,
You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. We will never forget the hospitality and graciousness of “Captain Dave.” He positively made the day for our boys, taking them out on Lake Erie all those many years ago in Marblehead on his prized boat, and then helping them to catch their first fish.
What a wonderful gift he left behind in this world raising, with you, four beautiful, intelligent and thoughtful children. His legacy will live on in them and all the important lessons he taught them. You are left with the memories of times Dave and you shared together and with the knowledge that you enriched each other. “Captain Dave” made the world a more interesting place and will not be forgotten.
God bless you.
Cathy, Nick, Matt and Billy Nichols
