I am deeply sorry for the loss of your mother, John. I would give anything to have been able to attend her Funeral Mass but my health absolutely will not allow it. Losing your mother/ grandmother is a deeply painful thing regardless of her age or degree of suffering prior to her death. As Christians, we celebrate all deaths because we believe that the deceased is now with God in Heaven. I’m very happy for her but I’m sorry that your mom is gone, John and you have lost your grandma, Ann and Rose. As I told you when my mom and dad passed away, we now have then in a very special way. “And the Lord GOD will wipe tears away from all faces…” (Isaiah 25:8) Love, Jim
