My most sincere condolences to all those who knew and loved Gary. He will be remembered and missed for his enthusiasm and kindness by many in the Washington area.
Our hearts go out to you for your loss. Gary will be deeply missed by many. Some of the best times I had at UD were with Gary, hanging out, debating politics, and always laughing. He will live on my memory and in the memories of the many people he touched with his laughter, his wit, his kind and caring soul. Gary and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers with the hope that you can find peace.

The world is a sadder place with Gary no longer here. While Gary’s humor is undeniable, what I’ll remember most about him is his desire to make those around him feel better. It was really hard having a bad day with Gary around.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the Dienes family and Tanya.
