Messages of Condolence
When I think of Jim, I think of a man who was compassionate, one who helped those in need, a father figure to many; I think of someone who was truly one of a kind. Jim was an excellent man who was always there for me and my family. I cannot express how he touched our lives and souls, the words seem to fail me. To say that Jim will be missed is an understatement, to say that he will be remembered is obvious. Jane, please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. If there is anything we can do, please let us know.
Jimmy was one of my best high school friends. He was very kind and generous. He was never one to judge. I am ashamed to say that I should have kept in contact with him. He will be forever in my heart.

Jim was a friend who I am sorry I did not keep in touch with. Most of my time with Jim was spent through my families business and through that he became close to my whole family. I remember an allways smiling gentelman sticking his hand out no matter the circumstance. He was definitely a great roll model. He might not have allways had an answer but never gave up looking for it. Our thoughts and prayers our with all the family and if there is anything we can do please let us know. God Bless

My condolences to the Rhodes families. It is very difficult to lose someone so young.
Jim was a “good guy”. I ‘ll always remember what a great baseball player he was. He loved the game. Best of all he was a catcher, and catcher is the best and most important position. He was serious about the game, not too serious to laugh about the antics of the Tappers softball team. Jim will be missed but not forgotten.
God Bless the Rhodes families.
