To the Corrigan family: I was shocked and saddened to receive the distressing news of Jimmy’s passing. He was a very dear friend. My condolences for your loss. You will be remembored in my thoughts and prayers. I visited him often in France while he lived there. We traveled extensively in Europe, during and after his residencey there. He was pleasant company. Regretfully,my health and advanced age (94) prevent me from attending the funeral services but I will have a memoriial mass offered at my parish church. Both he and Gim will be missed.
