I was so sorry to hear of Gene’s passing.
I often think back fondly to the visit to Phoenix both he and Delores made a number of years ago and the time spent. I always could look forward to running into Gene working out at Bally’s when I would return home for a visit. He was the most postively optomisitc and energetic person I had the privliedge of knowing and was a close friend of my parents Paul and Rhoda.

Dolores I do truly feel your loss,Chief Dent was very special to me.
He never,never,and I do mine never let me forget he grew up very poor, and that no one in this great country has any excuse not to try to do something with their life.

Gene was one of the “Scout” fathers that really helped out and made an impact on us boys, when his son Billy and I were in Boy Scouts together. I have many good memories of those times, which I will cherish the rest of my life.
God Bless you Gene. You are at rest now with my dad and most of the other Scout leaders.
Dear Dent Family,
I am so sorry for your loss please accept my sincere condolences at this time. Something that I have personally found to be a great source of comfort is the thoughts expressed in the Bible at John 5:28,29 where we see that there is going to be a resurrection of those who have died. Also at Revelation 21:4 we see that God is going to eliminate all of the causes for why we deal with sorrow,pain and even death itself. It is my sincere hope that these thoughts bring your family comfort at this time. Once again I am so sorry for your loss.
