I was so sorry to hear of the passing of a true gentleman. I sought advice from “Mr. Donahue” at Probate Court more often than I can remember. He was always very patient, courteous and helpful. He was the true embodiment of a gentleman, always trying to be fair in his proceedings, and making sure that everyone had a chance to be heard. He will truly be missed.
I’m 81 and had known Jim all the years he was a Magistrate. I handled many probate matters and he was always there to help if needed. A smile, and gentleness in dealing with the lawyers and the public were his style. Although short in stature, he was tall in reputation and had the respect of members of theBar.
I’m very sorry to hear about your father’s passing. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.
Mr. Donahue helped a great many people throughout his lifetime. He will be greatly missed, but he will also be remembered. Our condolences on your loss.
