Messages of Condolence
Dear Joyce, Ruthie, and Eric:
Barb and I sent our heartfelt condolences and are saddened by Al’s passing. Some years back, Al gave me some of his solar flare monitoring equipment which I still have. We just found out about Al today(November 3rd) and deeply regret missing the funeral but would like to pay our respects through this message and visiting, when possible, to offer our condolences in person. We are so very sorry for your loss and for not keeping in touch with Al and Joyce. Although I have been inactive with solar flare monitoring due to my own health issues, I shall again resume this endeavour with renewed passion in memory of Al and his many contributions to amateur astronomy over many years of involvement in the AAVSO and CAA.
May he continue to explore the Cosmos, ancient and vast, to which we all owe our existence in this epoch, and all epochs to come!
