Nancy: I am very sorry to hear about the passing of Bob. I worked with him at NEORSD for a few years. We had some good times together & we had some good conversations.. I help him get promoted from the stock room to getting a postion as a Electrical person.I even went to the same church (st. Charles) & I would see him every now & then. I will keep Bob in my prayers. He was a good friend to me.

I have a group picture of Bob and I…. and Ernest Heath and other friends from Waverly Elementary School at about age 12 while at a YMCA Summer camp . I remember a discussion with Bob about heritage . My parents were from Poland. Bob parents were from America with a centuries of heritage as Cherokees. Evidently I was somehow affected by Bob Birch and , 48 years later, I was able to marry a girl with Cherokee heritage from West Virginia.
