GYAPJAS-ROSBY, Nicholas. Age 29. Beloved son of Margaret Rosby and Joseph Gyapjas. Dear brother of Natasha. Loving fiance’ of Lauren Bock. Beloved grandson of Myron and Anne Rosby (both deceased) and Anthony and Elizabeth Gyapjas (both deceased). Dear nephew of Tom (Norma), Bill (Kathy), Mike (Wendy), Jim (Denise), Janet and Helen. Dear cousin of 14. Dear friend to many. Nicholas enjoyed spending summers at the Rosby Greenhouse and Berry Farm in Brooklyn Hts. He was a gifted Tile and Restoration Specialist. He moved to Indianapolis with his fiance’ Lauren and Italian Greyhounds Luigi and Armani. Nick enjoyed fishing and gunsmithing and loved God’s creatures great and small. Nick successfully battled Leukemia but succumbed to Graft vs. Host disease. After his courageous battle, he passed away peacefully July 5th among loved ones. Our thanks, gratitude and love to Simon Cancer Center, IUPUI Indianapolis, Indiana,  5th floor Bone Marrow Transplant Unit and Complete Medical Team for their outstanding care and support. An offertory donation in the memory of Nicholas may be sent to the funeral home.

Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, July 12, 10am at St. Leo The Great. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Visitation Wed. 4-8 at Zabor Funeral Home 5680 Pearl Rd. Parma, OH 44129.

  9. Nick’s passing is a great loss to those who knew him. He was a dedicated son, brother, partner and friend. I will remember him for his kindness, sensitivity, humor and wit. Nick’s humor was clever and effortless, and he appeared to deeply enjoy entertaining people, especially his sister, Natasha.

    The beauty of stars and constellations will be admired all the more now that your dearest brother, son, friend, and fiance to Lauren is up there shining like a bright star.

    Nick will be missed, but never forgotten. His humor and wit was one of a kind. I am so blessed to have met him. He was such a kind hearted soul.

    Cherish the memories you have as they will help get you through this tough time.

    He may be gone, but just know you will see him again and he is in the arms of the Lord in peace and without pain. He was so strong and brave through his fight with cancer.
