I am so sad to hear of the loss of a good friend I had the pleasure of meeting over 50 years ago. I had always planned on us getting together again to talk about all of the good times we had together. She taught me so much about life and true friendship.
I just returned home in Georgia from visiting my mother’s home in Ohio. (I just learned of her passing on the drive home from a brother). While visiting my mother, I noticed a little knitted duck in her bathroom. My mother told me Donna knitted it years and years ago. It’s still there. My mother does not even know Donna has passed away. It will hurt her deeply when she finds out.
Donna has touched the lives of many, many people- in a very good way. I have thought of her so very often over the years. I even asked her to come stay with me here in Georgia when my son was in first grade and my daughter was a baby. My son is now 30 and my daughter has since graduated from college. I tried to find her facebook not that long ago. I so wish now that I had found her and had a chance to see her one more time.
She made a very good full life for herself. I missed her for years, and now I will miss her always. She was never forgotten before and will not be forgotten anytime in the future by me. We always had a special friendship. You will always be sadly missed, Donna. XXXOOO
Peggy
I am so sorry to hear about Donna’s passing.I lived across the street from her as a child in the early 1960s and her and Peggy and I spent many hours playing in her basement. She was a great person and friend. I think of her often.

To the Frye family, I’m very sorry for your loss. No matter how much time passes we still feel the loss of our loved ones and view death as God does, an enemy. (1 Corinthians 15:26) May you find comfort and hope in His promise at Revelation 21:3,4 that shows soon there will be no more death, sickness, or pain, and we can see our lost loved ones again. Please accept my deepest condolences.
