William R. PARSONS, Age 82. was born on October 8, 1930. Devoted husband of the late Audrey Parsons (nee Boylan). Loving father of Jeffrey R. Parsons. Dearest brother-in-law of Carol A. Cornwell (John). Dear uncle of Leslie Hart (Braj) and Christopher Cornwell (Amy). Loving great uncle of Sara, Jack, and Cooper Cornwell, and Conor Hart. William was the son of the late Alberta and William Parsons.
Bill was in the Army and served overseas in the Korean War. Now Audrey and Bill are reunited – rest in peace.
There will be a small, private service for Bill at Lakewood Park Cemetery, 22025 Detroit Rd., Rocky River.

Although I haven’t had the pleasure of seeing Bill for quite some time, I recall playing softball with him in the 50’s. .He was the pitcher and I was his catcher. He was a fine, fine gentleman..and he was some athlete! We played for Lakewood Presbyterian Church and had some fun times after the games.
This old world needs more truly good people like Bill.
