Messages of Condolence
Aunt Pat was a strong, faith-filled & wonderously fruitful branch on Our Lords vine. Her acts of kindness & words of encouragement will be treasured by her family, congregation & friends.
Our dearest Aunt, enduring to her nieces and nephews in the specialness of two sisters marrying two brothers, I will cherish what she left as her strongest epitaph to me:
Harmony shall echo, and re-echo
every mothers hopeful quest
Throughout the breadth of their world
adult mastery is the art
When each child values the divinity of self-offering
(inspired by sri chimnoy)
I will miss her, as she was my familial centrifuge to beloved Cleveland.
I knew Grandma Pat through Jesse, Max, Christine, and Steve Rubin and loved hearing about and eating her fabulous chocolate cake. She stayed overnight briefly and we found her charming. She was dear and kind and her family will miss her immensely. How can anyone replace a grandmother who gives so much to her grandchildren or a mother who bestows so much love on her children and then still has so much kindness left for the rest of us?
