Messages of Condolence
It is with heavy heart we learned of Matts passing. As neighbors we remember many meals together. Times spent in driveways discussing the world, family and other favorite subjects. Sitting on our porch watching Matt and Pat working feverishly in their flower beds. But most of all we’ll remember “the man”. An unselfish individual who loved his family unconditionally. Adored his wife and found humor everyday. God bless him and be kind to him. He deserves a special place next to God, showing him how to plant those flowers in heaven for ALL to see.
You will be missed.
I am very sad to hear of Matt’s passing. He was what I believe every hospital administrator should be: honest, caring and easily accessible. He cared greatly for the patients and the doctors, and I liked him very much.
I am very sorry to hear of Matt’s passing. He was what I believe a hospital administrator should be: honest, caring, and easily accessible. He cared greatly for patients and the doctors, and made it a pleasure for me to work at Suburban Hospital. I liked him very much. My condolences to his entire family.
My late Father and I had many good times and happy memories associated with Suburban Hospital and we were very happy to know Matt.
With sincere sympathy, Natalie Pelunis

Pat: Matt was a gentleman in the truest sense of the word. It was an honor to work alongside him at Suburban Community Hospital. I cannot recall ever having a cross word with him. His office door was always open. My family shall always be grateful to Matt for the extraordinary care he provided for our mother.
