KIEC, Thomas S.

Thomas Stephen Kiec, much beloved by his family, died on February 7, 2013. Beloved husband of Barbara Joan (nee Skelly). Beloved father of Joan Skelly Kiec and Michael Stephen and his wife Christian Kiec. Grandfather of Daniel Stephen and Mark Thomas. Brother of the late Frank and his wife Adeline and family. Retired administrator in the Cleveland Public School System. Former member of the Board of Directors of the Cleveland-Northeast Ohio Educational Credit Union. Member of the Fraternal Order of Elks, choirs at St. Anselm in Chesterland Ohio and Our Lady of the Valley in Green Valley, Arizona. He was also a Veteran of Foreign Wars having served in the U.S. Navy.

Mass of Christian Burial: Thursday, February 14, 11:00 AM at St. Anselm Church, 12969 Chillicothe Rd. Chesterland. Interment: Calvary Cemetery.

    Tom was one of the finest asst. principals I ever had the pleasure to work with at Whitney Young Jr. HS in the 70’s. I hope he had a very enjoyable retirement. I celebrate his life.

    I’m so sorry to hear of your loss. I had the privilege of knowing Mr. Kiec many years ago. He was a true gentleman; a very kind and caring man. I wish you all love and strength in each other and send my deepest sympathy.

    A good man, he was our AP at Whitney M. Young jr. He was fair, tough and a good mentor for us young kids.
