Messages of Condolence

  1. Dear Betty, and family,

On behalf of the entire staff of Kemper House, may I extend my heartfelt condolences to you..

Don was a truly wonderful man, who will long be remembered at Kemper House. His wit and smile were legendary….While he smiled and joked with every one of us, Betty, his best smiles were always reserved for you.

It has been my honor to have served Don Communion in Kemper Church. He was a gentleman of faith, who was gracious and grateful for anything we did.

Thank you, again, for sharing Don with us. He brought us joy.

    Sincerely,
Pastor Carol, and all the Staff of Kemper House

  2. Prayers are with the family and friends. Fellow church member and Brooklynite I have moved back to brooklyn at mom and dad. Sorry for your loss.

  3. Diane & family,
You are in my thoughts and prayers. I have fond memories of your father.
May God watch over you all, for he now has a new angel.

    With sympathy,
    Sue

  4. I was sorry to hear of Mr. Wolf’s passing. I always smile when I think of how much I enjoyed our time in Hawaii. Don helped me rescue my mom whom seemed to be caught in an undertow. Great memories of growing up too!

    with fond regards,
    tery

  5. Dear Ma, Lori and Diane, Barb and David,
Pa was such a special man and I loved him dearly. He always made me laugh. I can just imagine hearing his voice in heaven. I bet the first thing he said was my Lori was the homecoming queen. Can’t you just imagine the angles and people and God are truly getting a kick out of him.

I’m very sorry I could not be there with you. I had always planned ever since I have been down here to go to Cleveland when ever Ma or Pa went to be with our Lord. It breaks my heart to not be there with you all.

Please know that you will be in my thoughts and prayers always.
    With much love,
    Colleen

  6. to Louise Wolf Hook….Sorry to learn about Don….We lived next door to your family back in 1935, 36, and 37 on Oakpark Ave. We kids used to run around and play together……..And, in later years my wife and I used to square dance with your Mom and Dad……My sister, Jean Havens Nichols died a couple of years ago……Gee, this brings back a bunch of old time memories……Hope you are doing well …. You and family are in our prayers……Don and I shared the same birthday 9/30/27…….Bob Havens

  7. I didn’t know Don, but I know his daughter, Lori, and see him through her…. probably in more ways than I know.

Lori has been very instrumental in changing my life by putting Jesus in it! I know and love her whole family through her, and pray for you all through this time of loss. May you all feel the presence of our great God when you think of Don!

    Teri
