Dorothy “Dodie” C. Sears (nee Goodrich), age 78.  Beloved wife of the late Robert.  Dearest mother of Robert (Karla), James (Sheila), and the late William (Anna).  Loving grandmother of Melanie (deceased), Melinda, James Jr. (Amanda), Daniel (Sarah), Cassandra (Colby) Williams, Carissa (Brett) Hoyer, Jocelyn (Bryan) Wolff, Kristen (Jordan), and William Jr.  Step grandmother of three.  Great grandmother of 14.  Dear sister of William (Marybeth), Ardis Allen, Michael Evans, and the late Jack (Roberta), James (Kathy), Dennis (Linda Diamond), and Thomas (Terri).  Dear sister-in-law of Mary Ellen Curley and Heather (Ken) Schieding.
Mass of Christian Burial, Thursday, May 23 at 11:00 a.m. at Mary Queen of the Apostles Church, Brook Park.  Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery.  VISITATION AT THE ZABOR FUNERAL HOME, 5680 PEARL RD., PARMA (between Ridge and Snow) THURSDAY MORNING FROM 9:00-10:30 a.m.

  1. My deepest condolences on the loss of Dodie. She was an inspiration to all who knew her. With regrets I am not able to attend the funeral as I am out of town. Please know that my prayers and thoughts are going out to all of you in your time of need.

    My sympathy at the death of your mother. When I was K of C State Chaplain when Charlie Reisbeck was State Deputy and your dad was a State Officer – I have many fond memories of our time together. Your mother was always there and it was always a delight to visit with her.
    i will remember her and your dad at Mass.

    I am so sorry for your loss, please accept my sincere condolences at this time. Something that I have found to be a great source of comfort are the thoughts expressed in the Bible. Also at Revelation 21:4 where we see that God is going to eliminate all of the causes for why we deal with sorrow, pain and even death itself. it is my sincere hope that these thoughts bring your family comfort at this time. Once again I am so sorry for your loss.
