Messages of Condolence

  1. Bernice,

We are so sorry to hear of George’s passing. We remember the great visits with you and George. We especially remember the nice surprise it was for our Grandma’s birthday when you came for her 90th birthday party at our home. We had a lovely brunch during your visit when we went to the Art Museum.

George always had stories to share. We remember laughing a lot when we were together.

We are keeping you in our prayers during this difficult time.

    Love, Kathleen & Jerry Martin

  2. Dear Bernice and Christopher. My sincere condolences to you in the loss of George. I remember so well his great sense of humor., Your former neighbor on Silverdale Ave many years ago in Cleveland. May he rest in peace.

  3. Dearest Bernice,

On behalf of Mary Ann & me, please accept our deepest condolences on the loss of your wonderful husband, George. George was truly a disciple of our Lord, and please know that the gates of paradise are now opened to him. For George was a man who always “shared the word” of our Lord with everyone around him, and not only did he “talk the talk,” but much more importantly, he “walked the walk!” I was fortunate enough to spend time with George during the “Men’s Night of Sharing” Ministry as well as the “Special Lenten Men’s Renewal Exercise” during 1996 & 1997. George played an instrumental role in both of those, as well as, during the regular year long meetings. He also wrote some very special “spiritually uplifting letters” that I will always treasure as well. Truly, he was an instrument of “The Holy Spirit” with his messages. Bernice, you have been the “Ultimate Care Giver” during all of the past 111/2 years, and we’re certain that you too, will have earned your richly deserved reward with our Lord as well. God Bless you always and if ever there is anything that we can do for you, please remember all you have to do is call on us.

    With our sincerest condolences,

Ken & Mary Ann Perry & Family

  4. George was my spiritual guide, mentor and friend throughout many years. I’ll miss him dearly. I offer my deepest condolences to Bernice and Chris.
