I’m sorry I’m unable to be there today. I have fond memories of Aunt Irene and my condolences and sympathy to all of you.
To Irene’s Family,
I got to know Irene through the Brooklyn Book Club. She was so well respected and everyone listened whenever she spoke. I got the privilege of driving Irene as her eyesight worsened. She told me about her life, wonderful family and about her husband, Bill. I often walked past her home when I went out for exercise and truly missed her after she moved. Mil Kupiec and I were able to visit her at Emerald Village and enjoyed a good visit. I’ll miss her.
Please accept my sincere condolences on your loss. She loved you all.
We were saddened to hear of the passing of Aunt Irene. We know that she is now is a happier place. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family. We were grateful to have seen and talked with her at Jimmy Kahl’s funeral. She always had a cheerful smile on her face. She will hold a loving place in our memory.
