Uncle Ed you will be missed you always were very nice and made every party fun rest in pease.
Dear Curtin Family,
I am so sorry for your loss, please accept my sincere condolences at this time. Something that I have found to be a great source of comfort are the thoughts expressed in the Bible at John 5:28,29 where we see that there is going to be a resurrection of those who have fallen asleep in death . Also at Revelation 21:4 we see that God is going to eliminate all of the causes for why we deal with sorrow, pain and even death itself. It is my sincere hope that these thoughts bring your family comfort at this time. Once again I am so sorry for your loss.

Dolores and “Boys”,
The neighborhood of Forest Edge/Bentwood has lost one of our leaders in “Big Ed”. So many memories of our utopian area and time to grow up in. . BIG ED was a huge part of the fabric and DNA of our childhood. The nighttime pool parties to Hide go Seek around the Curtin ‘s garage to my adult life of get me a beer and shot ,Big Ed was larger than life to me. My memory bank will always have Big Ed in a white tank top cutting the grass with
bulging muscles that till this day scared me.
I don’t break down to often but losing him hurts deeply.
On a selfish note I am so glad my memory bank is filled with so many wonderful thoughts of a strong, fun, energetic man who always brought a smile to my heart. I cherish how he would always
give my Dad static. ” I can hear him saying “you dumb Salami” but a little more colorful.
God’s peace to the Curtin family .
Welcome to Glory Big Ed!!!!!
Words can not express the sadness in my heart at the loss of Uncle Ed! It was an honor for me to have him in my life and now as I am grown my husband’s and children’s life too. I am sending all of you much love, support, prayers and peace today and always!
My thoughts and prayers go out the entire Curtin family. I am so saddened to hear of the news of Eddie’s passing, and wanted you all to know what a positive impression Eddie, and your family, has left with me. I only got to begin knowing Eddie and members of your family a few years back at the RIP’s golf outing, but from that first day, through the years to follow, Eddie’s fun loving, energetic, charismatic and contagious love for family and life, has always been evident. You can’t help but want to work to become a better person after being around him. You are all so blessed to have had him so close in your lives for so many years, and I am sorry for your loss.
Aunt Porky,
We are so sorry for your loss. Uncle Ed would always make us laugh and he will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.
Love,
Gail, Joe and Kaitlyn Swartz
Condolences to the Curtin family. I had the pleasure of working and knowing Ed for almost 20 years. Ed was kind, loving and full of life. Once you got past his tough guy facade you could tell he was really just a big teddy bear. He enjoyed life to its fullest every day. Ed was the first to offer help to anyone in need and everyone around him was able to learn something. Everything from a fix to his work ethic and loyalty made him a great man and friend. We will all miss him a great deal.
I apologize that I will not be able to attend as I am out of town on business.
Dear Curtin Family,
We are so sorry to hear about the loss of “Pappa Curtin”.
May our thoughts and prayers be with your entire family
on this day.
So sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
I would like to thank all the people that came to pay their respects and for the many cards, flowers, masses and donations. I could not believe the amount of people that attended the wake. I always knew my father was a great man and touched many people during his life. I could not be prouder of my father. I will miss his smile, his laugh, his voice but most of all, the love that he had for us. My brothers and I were so lucky to have both parents for so long.
You did good dad!
I would like to give special thanks to Justin who handled the arrangements at Zabor. He is a true professional. He showed sincere concern for our family. Thank you again Justin!
Please keep my fathers memory in your hearts.
Dad, I know I wasn’t a mistake. 🙂 Love you and miss you.
Mom is OK. We will take good care of her.
You are on my mind everyday.
Until we meet again.
Your Son Greg
