  6. Patty & your entire family,
All the relatives in Defiance have their hearts and prayers with you. You have played a very important part in our lives since the day you were born and then we were lucky to have you marry a wonderful man that soon became our family too.

He was a gentle soul and I was blessed that he would just sit anytime with me and we could chat about anything…I loved our time together and although he wasn’t one to say I love you when we would say good bye to each other, I knew it in my heart.

I would love to share with you though, the last time I was there and I was leaving and kissed him goodbye I started to walk away and turned to say I love you, Steve….he turned to walk back in the house and as I was getting in the car he turned back and looked at me and said I love you, too. Those were the most beautiful words I ever heard from him and the last. How blessed am I!!

I’ll always be just a phone call away! I love you all and may Steve RIP and in God’s arms. Pat

  7. Heather and family,
We are so sorry to hear about your loss. While we never had the opportunity to meet Steve, from the wonderful stories Heather would share with us we know the world has lost a great man. Our hearts and prayers go out to you during this difficult time.

    With love,
    The Preston Family

  8. Pat & family,
Jeff & I pray for your comfort and share in the loss of such a GOOD man….our Steve. He fought a very difficult fight never complaining. He was so brave and tried so hard for his family. He will be deeply missed by everyone who lives he touched.

  9. Heather, Megan and Family,
Wishing you peace and comfort during this difficult time. May you keep those cherished memories of your father close to your heart forever.
    God Bless You,

  10. We are just sitting here, in Chardon, at Micki Lee’s looking at Steve’s picture which we love. This is how we will always remember him. We echo Gail’s sentiment — we have lost a good man. Our thoughts are with you Pat and all your family.

    Micki Lee and Club Liz

  11. Heather, I’m so very sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers to you and your family. God bless.

  12. “Death leaves a heartache that no one can heal, love leaves lives a memory no one can steal”. It is good to know that death is not the end. The creator has promised that our loved ones will have the opportunity to live again, on an earth restored to paradise. Psalms37:29 tell us: “The righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will reside forever upon it”. So we look forward to seeing all our love ones again in paradise, life without end. In the mean time we will draw close to our loving creator and his son Jesus Christ in prayer, and the Bible promises that “he himself will sustain you”. Psalm 55:22 Know that hearts go out to you in this time of great sorrow.
