  6. Diane and Family

I was lucky to have known Joe and to have spent some time with him. He left a lasting impression on me that I will never forget. I will always remember his upbeat, positive, joyful, and loving way….and his Santa Hat! Joe you will be missed by so many, even those like me who did not know you long, but who you touched deeply.

Sending all of the family my love and heartfelt prayers.

  7. Dear Diane and Dorothy,

My heart hurt when I heard the news on your Father Diane and your husband Dorothy. I have no words of comfort and I have no words of joy for either of you. All that I can offer up to the both of you at this time is the gratitude that I feel for having known such a wonderful man. I was truly amazed to get to witness the LOVE and the JOY that was passed from each of you to one another. I pray that at this time of great enormous loss you both have enough wonderful memories to sustain you for the time being…..and that the Lord gives you the strength to smile at each and every precious memory of Joe.

    Love,

    Francine (Cookie)

  11. My Great Uncle Joe was a wonderful man. He was very close to my Grandpa- his brother-Steve Petras whom I loved and treasured. They both worked together at Machine Tooling, Inc. What I remember of my Great Uncle Joe was his loving smile and bright blue eyes and his ability to always make you laugh. He will be greatly missed. My husband and I will not be able to attend visiting hours or the funeral as we will be out of town. I regret that, but he and his family will be in our thoughts and prayers.

  12. How we will miss you, Dear Uncle Joe! Thanks for the memories! Our love goes with you– Ginny, Joe and Debbie

  13. Dear Dorothy and family,
I feel so much sadness about hearing of the loss of your Joe and the kids’ father. I told my husband, though, that what I remember most about him was his awesome smile and his fun personality. He always made me smile and he always made us laugh. He was a very special person. It seems he just had the love for life. On my way to work today, I was thinking that how fun it would be to be in heaven with my mom and dad. Joe probably has them in stitches already! We’re sending our prayers of comfort to you.
    Celeste (Goodwin) and Stan Hinzmann

  14. Wishing the family peace, and hoping soon, your wonderful memories of this remarkable man, will bring you comfort and joy. We will miss him so. All my love and prayers are sent your way. Linda Peckham
