PAUL G. HATALA. Age 91. Beloved husband of 67 years to Dorothy. Loving father of Kathy Yasenka (John), Chip (Leanne) and Mark. Dear grandpa to Stacey Less (Kevin), Sam, Chris and Thomas. Dear brother of Alice and Nick (deceased). Passed away peacefully August 7th. Paul was a decorated, wounded veteran of the Normandy invasion in World War 2, and he was a recipient of 2 purple hearts and 4 bronze stars. He always had a quick smile, and was always capable of finding the silver lining in all of life’s cloudiness. He cherished his family, his dogs, and he found a quiet sense of joy in peaceful things like gardening and prayer. He will be missed by all who knew his smile and humor. He will be forever remembered for his famous, “Better days are coming.” He was much loved.

Messages of Condolence
Guess Heaven needs another coach for their team…..thanks for acknowledging and encouraging a young 14 year old boy, filling him with confidence and asking for his opinion. It really meant a lot to me. You will be missed.
