Messages of Condolence

  1. Cindy, Shana and Billy

My family has known your family for multiple decades and I enjoyed my private time with Bill and my dad.

I still recall this mountain of a man named Bill Henry in my family’s home next to my dad who was only two inches shorter than Bill but just as intimidating to a young kid like me. Bill would tell me stories when we camped and scared the kids in the group. Bill was always fun to be around. I recall the time he drove the green on a par 4 380-yard hole when we golfed. He drove the ball farther than anyone I have seen hit a golf ball.

He was a man’s man but had the make up of a very generous, thoughtful, sincere but jovial man that I admired. He was a hard worker and I accepted his advice. It was shocking and upsetting to hear about Bill on Monday after he and I texted each other two days prior. I extend my sincere appreciation of him to you and encourage you and your children to be strong and enjoy the memories of this great man. I will always remember him.

  10. Cindy, Shana and Billy,

It’s difficult to find the words to express the sympathy and sadness I feel for all of you at this time.

There could never have been a better best man for Jim and me. We dearly loved him. He was so full of life and it was always such a pleasure to be in his company. Oh, my goodness, the laughs we all shared. I used to love when Jim would tell me stories of his and
Bill’s “escapades”. I will cherish the memories of all those happy times forever.

May you and your family be blessed with comfort and peace.

    Love to you all,
    Rhoda Anthony
