Kimberley Grayce ROACH, age 12. Known to many as “Grayce” left footprints on our hearts and joined the angels Thursday, March 31. She is the beloved daughter of Mark and Mary Roach (nee Kasper). Loving sister to Jake, Chase, Austin and Kenzie. Loving granddaughter to John and Jean Kasper and Jim and Gloria Roach. Devoted niece and cousin to many.
Born, August 9, 2003 in Houston TX, Grayce was a vibrant, loving, outgoing girl who loved life. She was a devoted sister and found much joy in riding horses. Her love of animals often found her volunteering at the local APL and caring for animals in the hope of one day becoming a veterinarian. She attended Lake Ridge Academy where she played basketball, volleyball and was in the choir. She spent many hours sketching and drawing her favorite things. She also loved the water and swam 3 years competitively for the Torpedoes. Grayce’s life might seem too short to many but those who were touched by her understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. Her gentle smile could melt the hearts of those around her. She possessed strength, perseverance and an ability to make everyone’s day brighter. Grayce led many to believe that each day is a blessing and an opportunity to create lasting memories. With Grayce’s passing we remind others that her life is one to be celebrated. Although we will miss her everyday, especially her infectious smile, she will forever remain in our hearts.
