Mary Ann RADA, passed away peacefully in Cleveland, surrounded by loved ones, on Saturday, June 25, 2016. She was 85. Proud and loving aunt of Tim Bishop (Sue), Jacqui Bishop Klee (John), Judy McNiece (Jeff), Bill Bishop (Janice), Bob Bishop (Linda Meacci), and Brian Bishop (Pamela). Devoted great-aunt “Amar” and grandmother figure to Zachary and Emily Bishop; Nicola, Harrison, Warren, and Marina Klee; Andy, Jacob, and Carly McNiece; Danielle, Patrick, and Nicholas Bishop; and Anderson and Lexie Bishop. Predeceased by her sister Lucille and brother-in-law Jim Bishop. Beloved daughter of the late Frank and Mae (nee Tesar) Rada. Mary Ann was born on April 24, 1931, and lived her whole life in the Old Brooklyn neighborhood of Cleveland. She was educated at Rhodes High School, class of 1949, and had a long career as an executive secretary, including at White Sewing Machine, Diamond Shamrock, and 32 years at Lamson and Sessions. She enjoyed many trips abroad and many years summering at Marine City in Marblehead, OH. She loved the flowers in her English-style garden. She was a wonderful, loving friend to many.

Much saddened to learn of the passing of such a delightful lady. Never, never a sour disposition. Always a cheerful presence. I haven’t seen her in year but I remember her vividly and with great affection.
