WILLIAM CARL TRAUSCH. Age 85. Entered into eternal rest on July 19th. He was a proud veteran of the Korean War, honorably discharged in 1953 at the rank of Staff Sergeant. He was a member of Teamsters Local 507 and retired from Universal Oil in 1992 after 39 years of service. Son of Carl J., and Florence A. (both deceased). He is survived by Shirley (nee Desmarteau), his wife of 60 years, and his children William E. (Linda), Lois Cicatko (Joseph), Karen Rader (James), and Rosemarie (Art Kestner). He was preceded in death by Baby Girl Trausch. Grandfather of Jessica and Jason Cicatko (Candice), Bradley and Jillian Rader, and Benjamin (fiancee Kelsey Stringer) and Alexander Trausch. Brother of the following deceased; Eileen and Carl J. Trausch (Delores living), Janice Maslowski (Walter), and Sandra Michalakes. Uncle, friend and neighbor to many. He enjoyed working in his yard, was an avid fan of John Wayne, and loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 6800 State Rd. Parma, on Monday, July 25th at 9:15 am. Interment: Holy Cross Cemetery.
