  14. Dear Mike and family,

We will keep all of you in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Pam is at peace now and has left behind many memories.

The first time we met her was when our daughter Cindy was in her 3rd grade class. I went on a few field trips
with Pam and the one to the Cleveland Playhouse was a very memorable trip. Also, Mike you were the Big 6 Game Man at the various events held at St Francis. We played that game a lot!

The last time we saw Pam with her daughters was at Parma Community General Hospital in 2010. I believe it was her Father who was in the same room with my Father-in-law, small world.

I would take a gift of some kind to Cindy’s teacher at Xmas. Pam got a 1 pound box of chocolate chip cookies from Hilltop Bakery which has been out of business for many years now. Cindy went on to graduate from St Francis and I always made it a point to drop off a box of the chocolate chip cookies for Pam and of course who ever was Cindy’s current teacher she would get a gift too.

I remember Pam telling me that she had ate most of the very first box by lunch time on the day she received them. I told her Hillside Bakery only made those cookies at Xmas time. So, she would have to wait another year for another box.

She will be missed by many students and parents as they find out about her passing. She was a great teacher, warm person and friend. It was great to know our daughter was in such good hands.

    Sincerely,
Carol and Bill Schartman, Parma, OH
