JAMES P. TOOMEY. Beloved husband of Carolyn (nee King). Loving father of Denise Ludwig (Robert), Michele Emery (Jeff), James Jr. (Deena), and Renee Hamric (John). Beloved grandfather of James Ludwig, Nicole and Kelly Emery, Jamie and Jimmy III Toomey, and John and Ashley Hamric. Dear brother of Carol Lynn, Robert, Kathy Switalski, Peter, and Jackie Paul.  Loving uncle and friend to many.  

Honorably served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War on the USS Bon Homme Richard (CVA-31) as an aerographers mate.

VISITATION WEDNESDAY, April 19, from 2-4 AND 6-8 AT THE ZABOR FUNERAL HOME 5680 PEARL RD. PARMA (between Ridge and Snow). MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL, THURSDAY, APRIL 20, AT 10:00 AM AT ST. JOHN BOSCO CHURCH.  Interment, Monday, April 24 at 1:30 p.m. at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.

    i am so sorry to hear that Uncle Jimmy has passed. i have many fun memories of water fights in your backyard, playing cards with you guys. Uncle Jimmy and Aunt Carolyn always were great hosts to all of us getting to visit. I am so glad I got to see Uncle Jimmy and Aunt Carolyn at Lake Erie that summer. My prayers are with you all.     So sad to hear of his passing, but so glad to have known him. I too have many good old memories from back in the day and am also glad to have seen Jim, Carolyn and the whole family at the lake erie reunion. Uncle Jim will always be remembered as the kind loving guy he was. Always happy to see you and swap stories, always interested in what was going on with you. You will be missed wish icould talk to you one more time, but I’ll have to wait to see you in heaven. your loved and missed Joel Paul Jr
