RICHARD ALLAN BECKER. Age 80. Passed away from cancer on August 7th, 2017. Beloved husband of Lois (nee Gorsica). Dear son of Walter and Thelma and son in law of Walter and Stella. Loving father of Beverly (Kevin), Bonnie, and stepdaughters Kimberly (Adam), and Amy (Benjamin). Beloved grandfather of Justin, Shannon, Alex, Evan, Paige and Sylvie. Richard graduated from the University of Akron and was a retired Parma Police Officer. He belonged to the Fraternal Order of Police, Ohio Patrolmans Benevolent Association, Life Member of Ohio Rifle and Pistol Association, National Rifle Association and the Single Action Shooting Society. Richard was known by many for his accomplished Markmanship, his love of travel, and his passion for locomotives. He was an avid hunter and skeet shooter and loved to surprise people with his cooking skills. He was a highly accomplished author of various publications throughout the years. Dear Lois I went to Hospice today and seen that Mr. Becker had passed away . I am so sorry. I know there are no words to make it better but know you are in my thoughts and prayers.
