KERN, James W.

James W. Kern passed away peacefully on March 18 at the age of 76.  He was the beloved husband of Patricia Ann (nee Gorman, deceased) for 45 years.  Beloved son of William and Mary Kern, deceased.  Loving brother of Tom (Nancy), Don (Dianna, deceased), Rich (Sharon), Jack (deceased) Betty, Bill (deceased) Lori, Marianne Simon (Tom) (Declan, deceased), Mike (Cheryl) and Ed (Ellen); dear brother-in-law of Terry Ochocki (Bob, deceased), Mary Rose Palfy (deceased), Sally Gorman (deceased) and Katie Bockmiller.  Cherished uncle, godfather, cousin, friend to many and loved by all.  Jim started his career at American Greetings in 1959.  He was called to serve the U.S. Army from 1963-1965.  He returned to work at American Greetings until his retirement in 2005. 

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the charity of your choice. VISITATION WEDNESDAY, MARCH 21ST FROM 3-8PM AT ZABOR FUNERAL HOME 5680 PEARL RD. PARMA (between Ridge and Snow).
