    I first met Marion in 1962 when we were graduate students in Nutrition at the University of Illinois in Urbana. Every year we exchanged Christmas cards and news of our lives; Marion was a wonderful correspondent. Her beautiful letters, year after year, were ones I treasure. I will miss her.
