Messages of Condolence

  1. Dennis, Ed, Greg and family,

Happy tears are flowing with lifetime memories of our little utopia on Forest Edge/Behrwald Ave.. We have now lost our final parent and
they have all hurt so bad.

We constantly love to harass each other but we realize just how dear and heartfelt our longtime friendships have meant to all of us. It is so refreshing to think of Big Ed and Dolores and Big Bob and Mur and their longtime friendships.

My sincere condolences to the Curtin boys and your hearts ache bad now but may God’s peace comfort you.
My guess is Dolores is coming down on Saturday to watch the Laurence Welk show with my Mom.

    Love

    Bobby Cummins Jr.

  6. Dear Curtin Family,
Your mother Dolores was more than just a patient to us. We enjoyed hearing about her baking for others (almost) as much as we enjoyed the goodies themselves. She was a fun, feisty lady, and will be greatly missed here at Buckeye. We would like to offer our sincerest condolences for your loss.
    Sincerely,
Dr. Blanc, and the ladies at Buckeye Denture Clinic

  7. Mom,
I already miss you more than words can say. My heart hurts just like it did when Dad died. I was lucky to have you for 57 years. I hope I took care of you as Dad asked me to. Please tell him I did my best. I wished you could have stayed in my home longer than you were able.
Thank you for always allowing me to be myself and for always supporting me in everything I did in life.
Thank you for helping me get through the tough times and showing me tough love.
Thank you my two wonderful brothers! They are the best!
Thank you for loving Debbie like she was your own daughter. Slovaks forever!
Thank you the never ending love to Sean and Ryan. The special wet meat dinners for Ryan. The kidding with Sean for the months you stayed with us.
Mom , please know that you were my best friend and I will always miss you. Could you ask Dad to quit knocking my putts out of the cup and hug him really hard for me.
    Love you Porky!
PS: I knew you really wanted that third child.
    Greg

  8. Boy, what a party is going on up there! Even though your Dad used to moan about Porky, we all knew the true Love he had for her! The Links was a second home to the entire Gerus family, and that made the Curtins our family as well! My heart is feeling your deep grief, but I am also very happy that the “Links family” is together again! I know that they will be on the eternal course playing 18 with John and his Dad as well as my parents and of course, Agnes! I am sure she is filling Porky in with the updates of the the family!

Love and Prayers to you all, Wendy Gerus Audrey ,and TJ Robinson, Sam and Emily,Buddy and Rachel and Eddie Gerus

  9. Greg,

So sorry to see this today. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

May your Mom Rest In Peace.

    Nancy

  10. I am so sorry to hear of your great loss. Recently I lost my dear mother
and found great comfort in the Holy Bible, like at Isaiah 25 verse 8 –
“The Sovereign Lord will swallow up death forever, and wipe away
the tears from all faces.” Also at Revelation 21 verse 4, we find God’s
promise to remove both pain and death. for more comfort, I turn to
the website at: http://www.jw.org (Search: Comfort)

  11. I would like to offer my sincere prayers to all of the Curtin family. All of my brothers and I grew up together with Dennis, Eddie and Greg. I have so many fond memories of Delores and Ed. They were great times and Delores made me feel like a part of our neighborhood family. God bless in your your next life. And tell Ed we said hello.
Again my prayers are with you all..

  12. I am deeply sorry for your loss. I know it’s hard when a loved one dies, but there is a promise that God has given us at Acts 24:15, that all will be resurrected for both the righteous and unrighteous. I hope you can find comfort in this along with other enlightening scriptures like Revelation 21:4 and Romans 12:12
