Messages of Condolence

  1. George will be missed by all of his friends, but especially his family.
My best memory of George is, as the captain of Special K, riding all of his grandchildren around the Lake Erie islands when they were young. Great bowler, great card player, best carpenter, and story teller of the old days! I loved that he never looked at his cell phone and didn’t have Facebook, truly Old School and lovin’ it. Peace and Love always, Greg, Lori, Nick, Robyn, Mike, Dana and Grayson and all of our pups.

  2. George will be missed by all of his friends, but especially his family and extended family. My best memory of George, is as the captain of his boat, Special K, he would drive his grandkids around Lake Erie and give us tours of the islands. He was a great bowler, carpenter, card player, and story teller of buildings he built back in the day. I loved that he hardly ever looked at his cell phone, didn’t look at Facebook, and was truly ” Old School.” Rest in peace our Georgie! Love, Greg, Lori, Nick, Robyn, Mike, Dana and Grayson plus all of our pups.

  3. Marlene,
All of us are going to miss seeing George tooling around in the backyard or the garage, his smile and wave, and the afternoon talks over the fence.
Sending love and hugs to you. Please know the boys and I are always here for you.
    Jamie, Jeff, Jackson and Jayce

We just heard the news about George and wanted to send our deepest sympathy. We will always have the great memories of our bowling days at Yorktown Lanes. George was such a great guy. You’re in our thoughts. May he rest in peace.
