Trudy Ann Cashel MONTANA was born June 1, 1945 in Cleveland. She entered the loving embrace of our Lord somewhere over the rainbow on July 23, 2018 (age 73) after a battle with cancer. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Trudy spent most of her life in Parma. In 1969, she married Gerald Montana and together they raised three boys- Nicholas, Mark and Patrick. Trudy is survived by her husband Gerald and sons Nicholas (Rosa), Mark and Patrick (Amanda) and grandchildren Marissa, Alexandra, Gino, Anthony and Andrew. She is also survived by her sister Carol (Ron) Kwiatkowski, sister-in-law Rita (Tom) Martin, and many nieces, nephews and close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Grace Cashel, twin sister Julie Ann Cashel and sister Judy Cashel Sabolsky. Trudy will be lovingly remembered for her incredible devotion to her grandchildren as well as her love for all things “The Wizard of Oz.” In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to St. Jude’s Cancer Research Hospital for Children.
