Messages of Condolence
Our deepest sympathy to the Gedeon Family on the passing of Ray. We enjoyed getting to know him during the last year and a half that we volunteered at Mt. Alverna and will miss seeing him when we return in April (in FL for 3 months)He always made sure we had the residents chairs in the correct space when wheeling them to Mass and he always made sure to thank us for all we did for the residents and MA. He will be greatly missed by us and many others! May all your wonderful memories help you through this difficult time!
Though I only met your Dad in December when my Mom became a Mt Alverna resident, we spoke often. Even in the chapel where both of us gabbed about our love of music and history. He talked about his service experiences; I talked about my favorite subject: music.
When Christmas came around, I asked him if he’d like a Christmas tree. He said Yes, very much. So I made one for his room. Whenever we passed in the corridor or dining room, he always had a smile for me, and I returned it right back. I wish I could have shared more of his service stories. No one is forgotten when someone remembers them.
