Dear Ray and family, I was surprised and saddened to read of Pat’s passing in today’s paper. I was lucky to have befriended the two of you many years ago at the restaurant. She was a sweetheart, caring about me and my family while John had terminal cancer. Many years later, she would still call and check on how I was doing. I enjoyed her phone calls and we would catch up on what was going on in our lives. I can kick myself now, because I meant to call on you to see how you were doing and if you were affected by the flood. My deepest sympathy to you all. Patty Amen
