Messages of Condolence

  1. My condolences go out to the whole Platt family. Charlie was one of a kind and was always one who would tell you how it was and would never sugar coat anything. I love that He did it through jokes and a ton of wise cracks. Most of all, he was an amazing family man and always dependable and loved each and everyone of his family members immensely. My favorite thing is he would give advice through stories of his own life and was very open and honest about how life could turn on you in a second. He only wanted the best for his family and loved Linda so much and his kids just as much. He was the best Grandpa and he will be greatly miss. I loved him like a second father and know he is looking down on everyone with his amazing laugh and wonderful smile. You will be missed Charlie!

  2. I’ll always love you uncle Charlie.ill see you again one day. Wish you could’ve met my daughter. I will miss you always

  3. You will be missed Uncle Charlie my prayers to Aunt Gail and my cousins he was a hard working man and always had a great story to tell or a joke he was one of a kind and loved to go

  4. Charlie was a classmate of mine at CFHS. Although I have not seen him since our graduation in 1964, I remember him very well. Charlie was upbeat and had a memorable smile and laugh. He was full of spirit. He was a good friend. May he Rest In Peace. Condolences and love to his family.

  5. Love you Uncle Charlie I caught some fish for you last night I will always be grateful to have had a great uncle as kind and funny as you were you took me in when no one could and taught me many things especially how to fish and play some pool I’ll see you on the other side with my fishing pole and pool stick love always little Brad Allen.

  6. Charles will always be remembered as a hard working family man , and father, who was a far better man then me. Always upbeat and a comedian who knew how life was and who reminded me of. my grandfather . I lost touch with him from moving on with life and missed his funeral also as my dad died the same year. Charlie gave me my first job at System Parking and it taught me how to work. I will never forget how he redid his houses ,how he loved carpeting, playing poker with him. His wife kids and family, His 86 mustang 5.0 and I know where he got the money for it.throwing salt out of the pickup truck, His wife ,His brother, dropping him down his basement steps and him being a great boss for almost ten years. I was hoping to get a hold of him again. And this is what I found . God rest in peace , you deserve peace.
