MASSEY, Bruce J.

Bruce J. MASSEY, age 67 of Penfield passed away in his home on Nov. 21. He was born in Cleveland on Apr. 5, 1952. Bruce was a graduate of West Tech High School in 1971 after completing many years prior at Boys Town in Nebraska. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding four wheelers in West Virginia. He was the owner of Mas-Tak carpet for over 35 years. He is survived by his wife Lilly (nee Butcher), his sons Joseph (Nichole) & Steven, his grandchildren Waylon & Ellie, his brother David (Tina) and sisters Diane (Bill) Lightner, Kathy Hitchcock and many cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Marple Massey in 2004 and his mother Eleanor Heil in 2016.

  2. It brings me sadness to hear of cousin Bruce’s passing. I have many wonderful memories of our younger years when Bruce was at our house always bringing laughter with him. One of my fondest memories was when him, Jim and I all traveled cross country to California like crazy hippies. Bruce nicknamed me Zen lol.
