Janis Ann GOCEK, (age 75) passed away unexpectedly September 21, 2020. Beloved daughter of the late Edward and Olga Gocek, dearest sister of James (Connie) Gocek, Diana (John) Lawson, Denise Ulloa, Laura (Patrick) Royer, and Renee (Martin) Rodriguez. Loving aunt of David (Jennifer) Gocek, the late Julie and Mary Gocek, Elizabeth (Matthew) Glassman; Brian Lawson, Christine Lawson; Christopher (Hali) Royer, Alyssa Royer; Eric (Laura) Rodriguez, Julianne Rodriguez, Melanie (Isaias) Lopez; great-aunt and cousin of many, and dear friend of the late Rodney Gass. Janis enjoyed participating in the summer Senior Olympics (at Estabrook) and delivering lunches through the Meals-on-Wheels program. With her sweet smile and soft-spoken manner, Janis touched the lives of many and will be dearly missed by all.
Mass of Christian Burial: Saturday, September 26 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 4170 North Amber Dr. Brooklyn, OH. Interment: Sunset Memorial Park (North Olmstead). VISITATION: FRIDAY, 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at THE ZABOR FUNERAL HOME, 5680 PEARL ROAD, PARMA (between Snow and Ridge).
