Betty M. KYGER (nee Riggle), age 96. Beloved wife of Russell E. (deceased). Dearest mother of Celia Huffman, Marilyn Remick (deceased). Loving Gram to Craig (Deniene) and Melanie (Frank). Loving Great-Gram to Jordan, Terry, Tyler and Travis. Dear sister of Robert (deceased), Pauline (deceased), Rodney (deceased), Marjorie (deceased), Rosemary (deceased), Dorothy, Edna, June, Joyce and Patricia. Dear Aunt and friend to those too numerous to count.
Betty loved her family and friends loyally and fiercely. She was generous, strong-minded, resilient and wanted the best for those she loved. She was an amazing cook and baker with her specialties, Beef and homemade Noodles, Coconut Cream Pie and Brownies. She was a great reader and strong supporter of education. She also played a mean game of Euchre and was a whiz at crossword and search-a-word puzzles. She worked for Lorain City Schools in food services and was active for over 50 years in the American Legion Auxiliary (Lorain, Post 30) and its affiliate organization, Eight and Forty. She attended Cuyahoga Valley Church, Broadview Heights Campus.
On December 12, 2020, when Jesus held out his hand to her, she took it and moved to an amazing land of restoration where all is made new. She is enjoying a reunion with those who took that path before her and we look forward to seeing her again someday.
Private services will be held in the new year. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in her name to The Salvation Army of Greater Cleveland, 2507 East 22nd Street, Cleveland, 44115. Arrangements by The Zabor Funeral Home, Parma. To offer condolences, visit www.ZaborFH.com

Celia and family my deepest sympathy to you all!
Where do I begin with my memories they date back to my childhood of attending Riggle Reunion in Springfield! This sweet older lady with chubby cheeks and big soft hands would be my Great Aunt Betty! Great she was! My sister Aimee and my fondest memory was that day and she brought out a 5lb bag or bigger of gummy bears!! We would often refer to her as the gummy bear lady! And those Brownies were the best my lips ever touched!! I have so many memories and So very a Blessed to have had her in my life!! She will be forever missed and loved beyond measure! Fly high with the Angels and Hug my Dad tight and long Aunt Betty!!
Celia, my friend…..holding you in prayer and thinking of you and your family.
My prayers and sympathy are with you at this time. May God give comfort to you all.
Celia,
Our heartfelt condolences.
When God took her hand, he needed a special person to uplift his flock. He could not have made a better choice. I dearly loved my Aunt Betty and will forever cherish all of my beautiful memories.. Her and Uncle Russell’s reunion make them the happiest this day.
Thank you for all the kindness and care shown to your Mother in her waning years. GOG BLESS!

Cherie, Lug & family
Celia, We are so sorry to hear about Aunt Betty passing away. She was such a wonderful, caring person that would do so much for her friends and loved ones. My mom and I were just talking about how good her brownies tasted. Brownies were always the item we asked her to make when having a gathering. She will definitely be missed. I will hold you in my prayers.
Celia, from your Warrensville Library Family, we offer our deepest condolences. Peace and blessings to you and your entire family.
