My deepest sympathy to the family of Howie. I loved running into him
through the years. He always had a big smile on his face and a big hug to go along with it. Rest In Peace Howie.
Our paths have never crossed over these many years since my college days, but I have always smiled when Howie’s name was brought up in a conversation with old friends. My smile was always of admiration and respect for his very, very unique self. He was an old soul at an early age I think- years ahead of my naieve youthfulness. He made me laugh and I thank him for that. We may not have been close, enduring friends, but his memory is still quite clear. He and his family will be in my prayers. I am sad for those friends who continued to enjoy his friendship and now must say “goodbye”.
We have fond memories of Howie from high school onward. Such a sense of humor! Condolences to the family.

Howie was a great father and friend to so many.
We had wonderful years together and four children that were blended in love .
He was so fun to be with , a great story teller and a loyal friend who would not talk bad about anyone. He fought a terribly hard fight the last 6 years and was really a miracle, coming thru so much. The Lord took him too early! He will be missed and loved so much! He leaves behind his amazing children and grandchildren!
His Smile. His Warmth. His Easiness. We’ll miss you Howie.
Howie was a wonderful man. He always had a smile and would sit down and talk to me when I saw him. Howie will be missed by all but especially by his daughter Remi. No one loved him more…
Howie was a good guy. He made a lot of people laugh, especially my Dad. I was extremely grateful for that.
May you Rest In Peace Howie.
