Elsie KRAUSE, (nee Preis) age 99, peacefully passed on April 11, 2021 in Woodstock, Georgia. Beloved wife of the late Roy H. Krause. Loving Mother of Roy (Kathryn) and James (Judy). Beloved grandmother of Amanda, Jennifer (Josh), Andrea (Stelios), and Emily (Todd); great grandmother of Isaac, Jacob, Aviella, Joyanna, Hannah, Eden, Logan, Carter, Leighton, Neeva, Chloe, and Alice. Dear sister of the late William G. Preis (Irene M., deceased). Elsie was a faith-filled and prayerful woman always wearing a warm smile. She expressed her enduring love for family and faith through unending compassion and self-sacrifice.
Memorial Service, will be held on Monday, May 17, 10:00 AM at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 1330 N. Carpenter Rd., Brunswick, OH 44212. Interment immediately following at Lutheran Cemetery, 4566 Pearl Road, Cleveland, OH 44109.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. Mark Lutheran Church, Brunswick, Ohio. Arrangements by The Zabor Funeral Home, Parma.

Elsie Krause was “Aunt Elsie” to our family. She was a lady who cared about you & was truly interested in how you were doing. She was my Godmother at Baptism & I always admired her love of God & family. She went to church faithfully. She came to the milestones of our lives. As we both got older, I watched her in the stress of trying to help her beloved husband, Uncle Roy. Likewise, he was very loving & caring when she had health issues. Through all the challenges she faced, I admire her for asking for help, being thankful to God, her family, & friends. Your love & kindness will always remain in our hearts. Rest In Peace after 99 years of Christian living on earth.
