John G. RISKO, age 87, passed away on Saturday, April 2. Beloved husband of 63 years to Catherine A. (nee Measor). Dearest father of Don (Carol), and John A. “Butch” (Pam). Loving grandfather of Anthony, Nicole Steele (Chris), Daniel (Mandi), and Catherine Campbell (Aaron). Dear great grandfather of Nathan, Alex, Lauren, and Caliana. Dear brother of Mary Locker (Norman, deceased), Frank (Joann), Christine Longley (Bruce, deceased), and Martin (Gayle). Dear uncle and friend to many.
John was a US Army Veteran and one of Cleveland’s orginal ice carvers. John’s family would like to thank The Cleveland Clinic, Medina Hospital & Hospice of the Western Reserve for their care and compassion.
John will be interred at The Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, on Friday, May 13, at 10:15 am. Please join the family at the Cemetery by 10:00 am. Cremation by The Zabor Funeral Home, Parma.

Dear Mrs Risko My name alone may not register with you, but you and your husband use to attend the 6A Mass on Holidays. I was also a trusty and sat on the left side. I always like your husband and never got his name right. he was aa shy and quite person. I had not seen him for several years because I gave up driving and my kid’s took me and the wife so we went when they took us. I am sorry to hear of your loss.. Dear Cathy, I was looking for you and instead found John had past. I can only say my heart goes out to you. I remember when you first met John and you two falling in love. I was young and was so happy you two got married.
