  4. Dear Lubinsky and Monoc Families,

No two of us are created alike and there was no more vivid example of this than in the life of Joan M. Lubinsky. She was absolutely her own person in life and lived it on her own terms. She had a kind and gentle heart and her door was always open to friends and family to listen advise, or just to be present. She had the gift to make you feel that you were the only person in the room. Her presence wrapped around you and she will always be remembered by her beautiful gift of compassion. However, I’m pretty sure she will be seeking answers to her many unanswered questions. You will be sorely missed by all, Joanie.

  9. Dear Lisa, Darrell, Kerstin, Damon, and Daren:

Your dear mother was my “Kissin’ Cousin” and special friend from the time we were six years old … to the time she visited us recently in California … through all these years since! I am so glad we were able to take her to visit “Point Dawn”, the home of her beloved Aunt Jay … to fulfill a dream by visiting Haight-Ashbury in San Francisco … to behold the magnificence of Lake Tahoe and northern California … and to just be with us here on the west coast! It was a visit of a lifetime for her and for us … and a blessing indeed. Your mother was a gem, supporter for all that is good in the world, and a benevolent caregiver to her nursing patients!

I am thankful that she was my loving cousin and my dear friend. I will not mourn her passing; I will celebrate her life, knowing she made the world a better place by being here!

Reaching out with love in my heart…
    Andre Grieco
