Dorothy Elizabeth Hatala, age 93. For 67 years she was the beloved wife of the late Paul G. Hatala until his passing in 2015. She missed him terribly the past 7 years as we know he did her. Now they are together again and probably dancing like they loved to do together. Dorothy was the loving mother of Kathy Yasenka (John), Chip (Leanne) and Mark. Devoted grandma of Stacey Less, Sam, Chris and Thomas. Dear sister of Edward Dvorak (deceased) and Helen Heinzerling (deceased). Passed away peacefully August 9. Known for her laughter and humor, Dorothy was a fashion model for Halle Brothers in her younger years. She loved being a Mom, whether to her three children and their friends or to her countless Shelties over the years. A resident of Parma Heights for over 60 years, she enjoyed baking for her neighbors, friends and church. She was much loved. Because of covid concerns the family will hold private burial services followed by a Celebration of Life at a later date. Dear Hatala family loved ones, dear friends Kathy and John, I am so very sorry to hear of the passing of your mother. Always friendly and smiling, I remember running into her at the Macy’s or Dillard’s in Parmatown Mall. She was kind and stylish and I enjoyed talking to her.
She will be missed by many friends and family.
